The Bridge, 230 W. Bonneville, is hosting Jazz Night every Wednesday from 7-9pm.  Stop in for a delicious dinner and enjoy an evening of Jazz.

Revive @ 5 on Wednesday will feature Happy Havoc live on stage beginning at 5pm.  The Elks Lodge will be on hand with delicious food. The sponsor for the evening is Colortyme.  The Farmers Market will be open with fresh made on site lemonade, fresh cherries, handmade crafts and jewelry, all at the Old Town Pavilion, 420 N. Main St., from 5-8pm.

Wine tasting this Saturday, from 5-8pm, at the Pocatello Co-op Natural Foods Market. They will be tasting five different wines from this month’s featured sustainable vineyard, Alexander Valley Vineyards. $7 per person. Please bring I.D. It’s a double header by Mean Red Spyder this Friday and Saturday at Portneuf Valley Brewing. The Spyders play Delta, Chicago & Rockin’ Blues. Vince Bellon’s band is influenced by artists of the likes of Johnny Winter, Elmore James, Bukka White, Muddy Waters, Rolling Stones, Led Zepplin, and the Allman Brothers. Be sure to catch them Friday or Saturday from 9pm – 11:30pm in the Loft. No cover!  Don’t forget PVB is open on Sundays all summer and hosts Monday DJ Trivia every Monday with great prizes to be won!

Family Services Alliance of SE Idaho will host “Celebration of Voices,  Hope, Healing and Inspiration” on Friday.  The fundraising event will take place at Liberty Hall, 325 W. The Portneuf Valley Farmers Market will be open on Saturday from 9am to 1pm at the Old Town Pavilion. Don’t miss the fresh bread, fresh produce, fresh eggs, and more at this week’s Market.

The Pocatello Art Center, 444 N. Main St., is offering weekly Children’s Summer Classes on Mondays through July 24 for 8 – 10 year olds, and Thursdays through July 27 for 11 – 13 year olds. Both sections will run from 10 am – noon and cost $5 per session. June’s artist instructors are Karen Vargason and Bob Beason, July’s artist instructors are Carolyn Purnell and Laraine Hatch. Main and grab a bag for your next barbecue or call in and order them made out of your favorite bread.  Be sure to try the Lemon Supreme Tea Cake-excellent for your Strawberry Short Cake.  Or… skip making it yourself and try their Strawberry Short Cake Bread!  And, in June and July Great Harvest is offering the ‘School’s Out’ special… Classic Sandwich and a drink for just $6.50.
