This week at Portneuf Valley Brewing: PVB has a super special live music event this weekend, with THREE bands playing Friday night. The lineup includes compost poppers Pinky Box, twee duo Walther’s Wallpaper, and fan-favorite Terran Engle performing as American Captain.
Saturday night will feature one-man contemporary rocker Tom Murphy in the house. Both shows go from 9 pm-11:30 pm and are free to all. If you haven’t made plans for Valentine’s Day yet, PVB’s got you covered. You can win a romantic Valentine’s Day dinner for two this month. The Pocatello Art Center offers “Pay As You Go” classes for artistically minded people who would like some guidance with their projects. Bob Beason provides assistance in all media on Tuesdays from 9 am-2 pm, Karen Wardle focuses on issues with oil paintings on Wednesdays from 9 am to 12 pm, and Pennie Wolf also helps out with oil paintings from 1-4 pm on Thursdays. The Pocatello Pet Lodge, 145 S. 3rd, is now taking registrations for their Winter Session Basic Manners Dog School.
