IDAHO FALLS – The Road to Financial Wellness is returning to Idaho Falls on August 8 at ISU Credit Union (2255 E. Sunnyside). The Road to Financial Wellness is a local grassroots and social media event with a mission to empower a generation through financial knowledge to live their dream lifestyle. The road trip mission is to turn local money discussions into a national conversation on financial well-being.
The road trip will host 50 events in 50 states and cover over 15,000 miles.
This is the second tour to promote this grassroots initiative. The team stopped at ISU Credit Union in 2015. The event was well received from professionals of Idaho Falls and the surrounding areas.
The seminar’s keynote speaker, Jason Vitug, is a financial motivator and lifestyle engineer, an author, speaker, entrepreneur and founder of Phroogal. He’s the promoter of The Smile Lifestyle movement, a community of 60,000 millennials who believe experiential and purposeful living can be achieved through sound financial decision making. Jason has written a book called, “You Only Live Once: The Roadmap to Financial Wellness and a Purposeful Life.”
“I believe the road trip can highlight the importance of financial education that empower my generation in making better financial decisions that lead to living their dream lifestyle. Focusing the conversation on financial stories and lifestyle goals is a powerful medium to bring about awareness and change,” Vitug said in a press release.
