Country’s largest national parks hit visitation records

Crowds flocked in record numbers to Zion National Park in 2015, with visitation up 28 percent in the first quarter of 2015. The National Park Service celebrates its 100th birthday in 2016 and has urged Americans to rediscover the country's scenic wonders or find new parks to visit through marketing campaigns that include giving free passes to every fourth-grader and their families.

E. Idaho State Fair turnout is strong

Eastern Idaho fair sets record
