POCATELLO – Pocatello and Idaho Falls businesses can now enjoy up to 500 megabits of download speed and 50 megabits of upload speed with the recent launch of Cable ONE Business’s new service, Elite Business Internet.
The company’s newest speed expands the lineup of Business Internet offerings for small- and medium-sized businesses, and will be available across the majority of Cable ONE Business markets by the end of 2016.
“Our 500 Mbps Elite Business Internet service will support the technology needs of businesses in the communities we serve, now and in the future,” said Chris Boone, Senior Director of Business Services for Cable ONE. “We are excited to be able to offer 500 Mbps Internet service to nearly 200,000 businesses in the markets we serve.”
Cable ONE has invested more than a half billion dollars over the past five years on network upgrades and enhancements in order to bring the latest technology and fastest speeds to its customers.
“Our extensive fiber-optic network and continued investment in improving and expanding our network enables us to offer the fastest, most reliable Internet connections at the best value, while contributing to the economic development of the communities we serve,” Boone said.
For today’s businesses, a fast, reliable Internet connection has moved from being a convenience to a critical component of success. Businesses rely on their Internet connection to run integral processes and programs, including e-mail, e-commerce, cloud-based applications, video conferencing and more.
“Fast, reliable Internet access is a productivity-enhancing factor,” Boone said. “It allows businesses to increase collaboration, send and share larger files more quickly, and take advantage of more cloud-based applications in order to achieve operational efficiencies, greater productivity and growth.”
